You call us
Any hour, any day. We answer, take a few details, and arrange to bring your loved one into our care — from a home, hospital, or nursing facility.
We meet with you
In person or by phone, in English or Chinese. We listen to how your family observes, then explain every option and its cost clearly before you decide anything.
We prepare everything
Clergy, ceremonial items, flowers, the obituary, death certificates, permits, and cemetery or crematory arrangements. You will not be handed a to-do list.
The service
We are with you through the wake, the funeral, and the committal — and we quietly guide guests who may be unfamiliar with the customs.

Why Wah On exists
Wah On Funeral Home was founded to serve the growing Chinese community in New Jersey, filling a long-standing need for traditional Chinese funeral services close to home. Our name, 華安, joins 華 — the Chinese people — with 安 — peace. It is what we hope to bring to every family we serve.
